Lena Hegemann has a diverse work experience in the field of research and AI engineering. Lena is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University, where they previously worked as a Research Assistant. Prior to that, Lena worked as a Junior AI Engineer and AI Intern at Silo.AI.

Lena Hegemann's education history begins in 2013 when they attended the University of Bremen, where they studied Digital Media. After completing their studies there in 2014, they moved on to the Universität des Saarlandes, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Medieninformatik / Media Informatics, graduating in 2017. Following their undergraduate degree, Lena Hegemann enrolled in Aalto University in 2017 to pursue a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction and Design, which they completed in 2020. Concurrently, they also attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, where they earned another Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction and Design.
