Tero Kemppi

Tero Kemppi has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of AI, machine learning, project management, and software development. Tero currently holds the position of Lead AI Engineer at Silo AI, where they utilize their expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior AI Engineer at the same company. Tero also has experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at CGI and a Machine Learning Developer at Dagmar, where they built backend systems using GCP, Airflow, and Python. Before their AI-focused roles, Tero worked as a Python Developer at MOST Digital Oy and gained project management experience as the Project Manager of the HSL mobile app at HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne. Tero also has experience as a Co-Founder and CTO at Happy Squares avoin yhtiö. Earlier in their career, Tero worked as an IT Project Manager at Responda 113 Oy and as a Software Designer at Cybercom Group, where they received excellent customer feedback. Tero began their career as a Trainee at Nokia. Throughout their career, Tero has demonstrated a strong technical skillset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Tero Kemppi has a strong educational background in computer science. Tero obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences from the University of Turku, where they studied from 2002 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) from the same institution's Department of Future Technologies. Tero completed this program from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Tero Kemppi has also obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Tero became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning Engineer in December 2022. Tero also earned a Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in April 2020. Tero Kemppi completed a Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP Specialization through Coursera in November 2019. Tero became a Professional Scrum Master I through Scrum.org in July 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified ICT Standard Professional certification from Sofigate in January 2018. Tero'searliest certification is the Axis Certified Professional from Axis Communications, which they obtained in October 2015.
