Truc Vien T. Nguyen, PhD

Vien Nguyen, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of AI and NLP. Currently, they are serving as a Senior AI Scientist at Silo AI, where they contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions for autonomous vehicles, industry 4.0, and smart devices. Prior to this, Vien worked as an AI Research Scientist at ultimate.ai, where they conducted research to improve virtual customer support agents using NLP techniques and process mining. They also worked as an AI Consultant at Telepathy Labs, collaborating with teams to deliver chatbot solutions. Vien has a background in NLP research, having worked as an NLP Researcher at a Japanese company and as a Post-doctoral Researcher at USI Università della Svizzera italiana. They also served as a Post-doctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at Università degli Studi di Trento, and earlier in their career, Vien worked as a Lecturer/Researcher at Bach Khoa University. They started their work experience as an Intern at Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montreal.

Vien Nguyen, PhD obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università di Trento. In addition to the Ph.D., Vien also holds certifications in Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from HarvardX and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate from Microsoft, which were obtained in June 2023 and May 2023, respectively.
