Zakaria Laskar

Zakaria Laskar has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. Zakaria began their career as an intern at IndoorAtlas in 2015, where they gained practical experience in the industry. Zakaria then worked as a research assistant at the University of Oulu for a year. In 2016, they joined the Aalto University Department of Computer Science as a doctoral researcher, a role they held until 2020. During their time at Aalto University, they also worked as a postdoctoral researcher and visiting researcher. In 2020, Zakaria joined Silo AI as an AI scientist, utilizing their expertise in artificial intelligence. Currently, they are working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, focusing on their research in the field.

Zakaria Laskar completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar from 2009 to 2013. Zakaria then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Oulu from 2014 to 2016. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Aalto University between 2016 and 2020.
