Heather Murphy

Heather Murphy is a seasoned educator and counselor with extensive experience in school environments. Currently serving as a School Counselor at Silsbee ISD since June 2019, Heather previously held similar roles at Odom Academy School from October 2015 to June 2019 and Kountze High School from August 2009 to July 2012. Heather started as a Language Arts Teacher at Edwards Johnson Memorial Silsbee Middle School from August 2004 to August 2009 and worked as a Production Assistant at KBMT-TV from August 2001 to August 2004. Heather's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University, a Teacher's Certification in ELA 4-8 from Lamar State College Orange, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Lamar University.
