Russell Karr

Russell Karr, PE, currently serves as the Chief Analytics Officer at Silver Creek Materials, a position held since April 2014 following a management consulting study that identified key areas for improvement. Prior to this role, Russell held the position of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations and development for a separate aggregates company. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Delivery Manager at Kleinfelder, where management of multiple engineering offices and laboratories was key. Russell's extensive background also includes part-time project management at Silver Creek Materials and a lengthy tenure at Carter & Burgess, where significant leadership roles included Chief Operating Officer and Principal Stockholder. Additional experience includes military service as a Captain in the Texas Army National Guard and positions at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
