Norm Peters

Norm Peters M.A. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Norm is currently the Director of Vineyard Operations at Silver Oak & Twomey. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Vineyard Operations at Trinchero Family Estates, where they were responsible for budgeting, development, and automation. Norm also had experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Saint Mary's College of California. In addition, they served as a Grower Representative at The Wine Group, where they worked closely with vineyard managers on multiple sites. Norm also worked as a Viticulturist/Owner at Vineyard for You, where they designed, installed, and managed vineyards, including those for celebrities. Norm held the position of Director of Wine Growing-Winemaker at California Cellars Inc., overseeing all aspects of the winery. Norm also served as the General Manager at California Cellars, where they planted and grew Pinot Noir and implemented safety protocols. Prior to their career in the wine industry, Norm worked in education as a Vice Principal and Teacher at Antioch Unified School District. Norm also gained carpentry experience at Castle Construction, where they worked as a carpenter and crew leader.

Norm Peters M.A. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Diversified Liberal Arts, with minors in English and Government, from Saint Mary's College of California in 1989. Norm then went on to obtain a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in Elementary Education and Teaching English Single Subject also from Saint Mary's College of California, completing this program in 1991. In 2003, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, Norm obtained an Irrigator Certification 1 from the ITRC in April 2018, and a Qualified Applicator License/ QAL from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation in April 2015. Norm also has a Pest Control Business License, although the details of when and from where they obtained it are not provided.
