Systems Engineering Architectural Lead - East Coast at Silver Peak

Daniel Shin has extensive work experience in the field of networking and technology. Daniel started their career as a LAN Administrator at the University of Utah - College of Law, where they analyzed, designed, and configured networks. Daniel then joined Cisco as a Network Consulting Engineer, where they provided technical support, performed architectural design, and led design reviews for New York regional accounts. Daniel also worked on troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues. After their time at Cisco, Daniel worked as a Network Architect at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where they were responsible for designing the data center network infrastructure. Daniel Shin attended a private school from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in information systems. Prior to that, they attended Utah Valley University from 1993 to 1997. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CISSP certification from ISC in 2016, the Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in January 2021, and the Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Associate certification from Aviatrix in May 2020.
