Susan Miranda is an experienced education professional with a strong background in visual arts and engagement activities for individuals with memory loss. Currently serving as an Engagement Specialist at Silverado since April 2023, Susan focuses on developing programs that foster positive experiences for those with varying degrees of physical mobility and memory challenges. In addition, Susan has taken on the role of Visual Arts Teacher at the Montessori School of McLean since September 2022, while also co-founding the UpCycle Creative Reuse Center in 2011. Previous positions include working as a Production & Billing Associate at SKDK, teaching at Beverley Hills Church Preschool, and serving as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at both Washington Episcopal School and St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School. Susan holds multiple degrees from George Mason University, including a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Studio Arts.
