Giorgi Chitashvili

Giorgi Chitashvili has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Giorgi started their career as a Senior IT Specialist at the National Statistics Office of Georgia - Geostat in 2010. Giorgi then worked as a System-Network Administrator at Sun Petroleum Georgia LLC before joining Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2011. At the university, they held various roles, including Advisor to the Rector and Head of the Analytic Unit. In 2015, they became an IT Manager at Georgia Urban Energy LLC. Giorgi then worked as the Chief System Administrator at the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at VEON as a DevOps Engineer and later as the DevOps Manager for Beeline Georgia. Giorgi then worked as a DevOps Architect at TBC Bank from 2019 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they were the Lead System Engineer at EPAM Systems and the DataOps Lead at Explorium. Currently, they are the DevOps Team Lead at Silverbird | A global business account.

Giorgi Chitashvili holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Mobile Computing, which was obtained from Universidade Fernando Pessoa between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering and Telecommunication at Georgian Technical University from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Giorgi has various certifications in areas such as cloud architecture, software development, networking, and system administration, including certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and Databricks.
