Austin Leal

Austin Leal has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Research Assistant at South Texas College of Law Houston in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Law Clerk at SilverBow Resources. In 2022, they also served as a Judicial Intern at the 270th Civil District Court.

Before transitioning into the legal field, Austin worked at FIS as an Associate Director from September 2018 to August 2021. Austin also worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from December 2016 to August 2018, and as a Tax Accountant at Lyles & McCarty from September 2016 to December 2016. Austin'sfirst position at Edward Jones was as a Financial Advisor from January 2016 to May 2016.

Austin Leal completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General from Texas State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. From 2021 to 2024, Austin is pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the South Texas College of Law Houston. Additionally, in September 2022, they obtained the LexisNexis Certification Part 1: Proficiency Certification from LexisNexis.
