Martha Bettis, CEP, has extensive work experience in legal and administrative roles. Martha began their career in 1992 as a Corporate Legal Secretary at MAXXAM Inc. Martha then advanced to become a Corporate Paralegal and Assistant Secretary at Maxxam Inc. from 1995 to 2005. Following this, Martha served as a Legal Secretary at Porter Hedges LLP for a year. Martha then joined Swift Energy Company as a Senior Corporate Paralegal and Assistant Secretary from 2005 to 2013. Martha's most recent position was with SilverBow Resources, where they worked as a Senior Equity Plan Administrator and Assistant Secretary from 2013 to 2018. Martha further advanced within SilverBow Resources to their last role as a Legal and Administration Supervisor and Assistant Secretary. Throughout their career, Martha has also been actively involved with the Texas Grand Assembly of The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls as a Member of the Grand Committee since 2014.
