Mathan Ramanujam has worked in various positions in the technology industry since 1996. Mathan began their career at Atlaz Telecom as an Engineer - System Design, where they designed Terminal Switch cards for Voice Switching Systems. In 1997, they moved to Arasan Chip Systems Inc. as an Engineer. In 2001, they joined Nokia Networks through the acquisition of Amber Networks, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. At Nokia, they achieved various successes such as delivering a QoS scheduler, SDRAM memory controller, and a Synopsys Vera based testbench for full chip verification. In 2004, they moved to Texas Instruments as a Team Lead, where they lead a team of 8 people in delivering RTL, netlist, and timing constraints to multiple SoCs in 65nm and 45nm technology nodes. In 2007, they joined STMicroelectronics through the acquisition of Genesis Microchip Inc. as a Manager of Subsystems Design. In 2020, they moved to Western Digital as a Senior Manager with a charter to scale the team ground-up. In 2022, they joined SiMa.ai as Director - SoC Design, where they are bringing their versatile nature and cross-functional experience to the table and dreaming to build CoE for Infrastructure IPs for ML SoC.
Mathan Ramanujam obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from Bharathidasan University between 1991 and 1995.
