Grace Smith

Grace Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Grace started their career as a Copywriter at OTH Creative- On the House Creative Agency in 2014. Grace then worked as a Client Services Intern at Simantel in 2016, followed by roles as a Junior Account Planner at Midnight Oil Advertising, an Account Planning Intern at Madison Strategic Partnerships, and a Media Planner at Illinois SBC, all in the same year.

In 2016, Grace also served as a Social Media Account Manager at CTRL+V Interactive, where they managed social media accounts and created real-time Facebook posts for promotional purposes. Grace continued to broaden their experience with a Project Management Intern position at Simantel in 2017 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Grace joined Love Your Melon, a nonprofit organization, in 2016 as a Campus Crew Member and stayed until 2017. Grace then returned to Simantel in 2018 and progressed from a Project Manager, where they handled various projects for ExxonMobil, Solar Turbines, and Caterpillar, to a Senior Project Planner. Currently, they are working as an Associate Director of Project Planning at Simantel, starting in September 2021.

Grace Smith attended Morton High School, but no specific dates were provided. Grace then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising. Within their education, they obtained additional certifications including "Branding Foundations" from Lynda.com in May 2017, "Business Writing Fundamentals" from Lynda.com in July 2016, "Communication Fundamentals" from Lynda.com in July 2016, "Managing Small Projects" from Lynda.com in July 2016, "Project Management Simplified" from Lynda.com in July 2016, and "Teamwork Fundamentals" from Lynda.com in July 2016. Grace also obtained a "Media Sales Certificate" from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed a minor in Communications at the same institution. Grace may have also completed the "Online Marketing Foundations" certification, but no specific dates were provided for this certification.
