Vignesh K.

Vignesh K. has a diverse work experience starting in 2017 as a Summer Intern at QAFCO. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Research Intern at Qatar Computing Research Institute, where they experimented with clustering algorithms for healthcare analytics. Vignesh also served as the Head of Marketing and Media Relations at Synergy-NIT Trichy during the same year. In 2019, Vignesh worked as a Media Relations Coordinator for Pragyan - NIT Trichy's Technical Fest.

Moving forward, in 2020, Vignesh joined Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on grasp detection using neural networks. Vignesh worked on creating an ensemble of expert grasping algorithms and implementing probability-based stacking ensembles to improve performance. Additionally, they experimented with model distillation and testing against adversarial examples.

In 2021, Vignesh worked as a Summer Machine Learning Intern at PediaMetrix and Lumo Imaging where they gained hands-on experience in machine learning. Currently, they are employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at SimBioSys, Inc.

Vignesh K. began their education in 2008 at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, where they completed their high school education. From 2015 to 2019, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Vignesh then furthered their education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2019 to 2021, earning a Master of Science degree in Robotics Engineering.
