Zack Thompson

Zack Thompson has a diverse work experience in the field of quality management and calibration. Zack started their career in 2005 as a Calibration Technician in the United States Marine Corps and worked in this role until 2012. In 2012, they joined SIMCO Electronics as a Calibration Technician and C/QA Technician. Zack then worked as an Engineering Technician at Bell Helicopter from 2013 to 2014, followed by a role as DSC Standards & Calibration Manager at the same company. From 2015 to 2016, Zack worked as a Precision Equipment Calibrator with the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command. Zack then joined SIMCO Electronics again in 2016 as a Lead Technician. In 2017, they transitioned to Tektronix as a Metrologist for a short period before returning to SIMCO Electronics in 2018 as a Quality System Manager. In 2019, they became the Corporate Quality Manager and eventually progressed to the role of Director of Quality in December 2020.

Zack Thompson's education history includes a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com, which they obtained in 2020. Zack holds a Master of Science degree in Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earned from 2016 to 2017. Zack also completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the same university, between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained a minor in Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Prior to their higher education, Zack attended Burleson High School and earned a general degree in General Studies from 2001 to 2005. Zack also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Go-Lean-Six Training & Consulting, but the date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
