Glenn Sheahan

Mr. Glenn Sheahan is the Group Chief Safety and Sustainability Officer for Sime Darby Berhad and was appointed 1 October 2019.

Mr. Sheahan joined Hastings Deering, a Sime Darby Industrial company, as General Manager-Safety and Sustainability in February 2013, before being appointed as the Divisional General Manager of Safety and Sustainability for Sime Darby Industrial in October 2017.

Mr. Sheahan has more than 25 years of industry experience and has held senior safety management roles at Halliburton, Rio Tinto, Comalco, Downer EDI Mining, the John Holland Group, and Thiess Process. He has international experience working in Bahrain, Qatar, Indonesia, and Thailand in oil and gas, metallurgical refining, and construction industries and has held safety and security positions in Dubai and auditing and compliance positions in Qatar. Glenn is a qualified nurse and holds a post-graduate degree in Operational Health and Safety from the University of Southern Queensland.
