Vikneshwaran Sathasivan

Vikneshwaran Sathasivan currently serves as Co-Head of Investor Relations at Sime Darby since March 2024, following the acquisition of UMW by Sime Darby Berhad. Previously, Vikneshwaran held the position of Head of Group Investor & Media Relations at UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd from July 2011 to February 2024 and served as Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs at UMW Oil & Gas Corporation Sdn Bhd from May 2007 to June 2011. Initial experience in the automotive sector includes a role as Manager of Public Affairs/Brand Development at UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd from June 1996 to April 2007, focusing on media relations and corporate communications. Vikneshwaran holds a Certificate in Investor Relations from the Investor Relations Society, UK, completed in 2013, and has a background in education from Informatics College and Sekolah Menengah Sri Pantai.
