Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior experience includes serving as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed, and as an electronics contractor with Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational devices. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and assessment activities. Previous work includes work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
