Peter Scarlata

Peter Scarlata has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Peter is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Australasia at Simoco Wireless Solutions since October 2019. Prior to this role, they worked at Intelematics as a Senior Product Manager from August 2017 to September 2019. At Intelematics, they specialized in IoT solutions for the automotive and data sectors, focusing on product marketing activities.

Before joining Intelematics, Peter held the position of General Manager at CNG Systems Pty. Ltd. from February 2014 to July 2017. During their tenure, they managed the company's operations, including profit and loss, business development, sales, and project management.

Before their role at CNG Systems, Peter worked at Bosch Security Systems as a Regional Business Unit Manager for Communications Systems from January 2012 to December 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Department Manager for Chassis System Sensor Engineering at Bosch Australia from August 2009 to December 2011.

Peter also has experience working at Bosch North America as a Section Manager for Automotive Electronics from August 2007 to July 2009. Peter began their career at Bosch Australia as a Design Engineer for Automotive Electronics from January 1997 to July 2000.

Before embarking on their professional career, Peter ran their own business as a Car Audio, Alarm, and Telephone Installer from March 1988 to December 1997.

Peter Scarlata attended Salesian College from 1989 to 1991, where they completed their VCE. Peter then went on to RMIT University from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science.
