Manuel Tavares

Manuel Tavares is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the plastics industry and personal defense training. Currently serving as a Product Expert at Simoldes Plásticos since February 2017, Manuel has been with Grupo Simoldes - Tool Division since July 2000, holding various positions including Product Specialist for plastic parts and CAD Designer, specializing in the development of plastic components, technical drawing, and 3D and 2D modeling. Additionally, since January 2000, Manuel has been the Director of the Porto branch of the Associação de Defesa Pessoal de Portugal (ADPP), focusing on teaching self-defense as a means of enhancing physical and mental capabilities for health and safety. Prior experience includes a role as Quality Controller at TRECAR from January 1997 to June 2000, overseeing both internal and external quality control processes. Manuel's educational background includes studies at Agrupamento de Escolas Fiaes, Ispab, and CENFIM, coupled with a degree in French Commercial.
