Nancy Forde is a Professor of Physics at Simon Fraser University since August 2004, where Forde serves as an Associate member of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Chemistry, and has interests in biophysics focusing on the mechanical properties of biomolecules, novel molecular motors, optical trapping strategies for biomaterials, and the structure-sequence-mechanical function relationships in collagen.
