Senior Team Lead, Talent Solutions at Simplicity Consulting

Lauren Hardin is the current Talent Manager at Simplicity Consulting. Lauren has held this position since September of 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Manager of Scholar Awards & Grant Programs at Bellevue College Foundation from November 2015 to September 2021. In this role, Lauren was responsible for policy development, implementation, and long-range planning to advance the organization’s goals, mission, and vision. Lauren focused on developing goals, objectives/measurable outcomes, and effective models using a strategic/business planning approach.

During their time at Bellevue College Foundation, Lauren oversaw the creation, implementation, evaluation, and refinement of a comprehensive scholarship program based on the strategic direction based on requirements dictated by executive leadership and board members. Lauren was also responsible for increasing the number of applications for scholarships in the first year by over 100% from previous years and held a steady 30% or more increase in applications in the years since. In addition to these responsibilities, Lauren also independently planned, coordinated, and delivered all Foundation programs and services while managing over $2 million in Foundation revenue to Bellevue College campus and community. Lauren compiled, analyzed, monitored budgets as needed to meet or exceed annual revenue projections.

Lauren was also responsible for assuring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of Foundation programs process from development to close of program and acted as point-of-contact and liaison for grantees, administrative, leadership, as well produce ad-hoc data and reports for administration leadership, legislatures, state and partner organizations. Lastly, they cultivated relationships with other community-based organizations during outreach events to strengthen the Bellevue College Foundation’s brand and presence. During their time at Bellevue College Foundation, Lauren was a leader among their staff through mentorship, leadership, project management, and support.

Lauren Hardin has a Master's in Public Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University with a minor in English.

They are on a team with Markelle Rich - Senior Talent Manager, Dayna Weir - Talent Manager, and Erica Elliot - Senior Talent Manager. Lauren Hardin reports to Cindi Newell-Timmons, Director of Talent Delivery and Engagement.
