Reuben Halper

Reuben Halper is an experienced leader in the digital marketing space, currently serving as the Head of YouTube for Google New Zealand since July 2010, where the focus is on growing and nurturing YouTube in the region. Reuben has held various roles at Google, including Agency Lead and Global Category Lead for Consumer Goods, leading partnerships with major global brands. Reuben's expertise extends to creative development through positions as Global Advertising Programs Lead and Creative Agency Outreach Lead within The Zoo, where collaboration with multinational accounts was key. Outside of Google, Reuben actively contributes as a board member for organizations like the Simplicity KiwiSaver Scheme and as an advisor to various ventures, such as chimnie.co and Supergenerous. Educational credentials include a Mini MBA from Marketing Week and an Executive Marketing Academy program from INSEAD, complemented by a degree in Political Economy from Tulane University.
