Vikas Dutta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Vikas started their career as a Senior Executive Business Development at Tradeindia.com-Infocom Network Ltd from July 2012 to September 2013. Vikas then joined Gen Y Connect India as a Business Development Manager from October 2013 to July 2017, where they set up the branch in Delhi and managed a team of 35 individuals, handling digital marketing campaigns and generating revenue.
From November 2017 to March 2020, Vikas worked as a Team Lead at Nowfloats Technologies Private Limited, where they handled a team of 10 people and focused on B2B category sales of an automated SEO platform. Following this, they joined Vedantu as a Regional Sales Manager from March 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they managed 8 centers across India and was responsible for generating maximum revenue, leading a team of 8 Sales Development Managers and approximately 100-120 Academic Counselors and Senior Academic Counselors.
Vikas then worked at Relevel by Unacademy as a Senior Sales Manager from January 2022 to January 2023. Here, they managed the tech category and consistently achieved monthly targets.
Currently, Vikas is employed as a Senior Business Sales Manager at Simplilearn from February 2023. Vikas is responsible for managing the Data Science, Data Analyst, and AIML category, delivering consistent monthly business of more than 1 crore and formulating strategies to boost revenue.
Vikas Dutta pursued their education in the field of Marketing, starting in the year 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they attended AIMA (All India Management Association), where they obtained a PGDM degree. Additionally, in 2011-2012, Vikas enrolled at Inlead, where they pursued a professional degree in Corporate Marketing.
