Verlinda Dority

Verlinda Dority is an experienced instructional designer currently serving as a Loyalty Instructional Designer at SimpliSafe since July 2024, where responsibilities include collaborating with operations leaders to develop enablement programs and managing projects from inception to completion. Prior experience includes designing learner-centric materials at BeneLynk and a voluntary career break for extended travel, during which research, planning, problem-solving, and Spanish language skills were developed. Previously, Verlinda served as a Senior Instructional Technologist at Aetna, creating digital training solutions across various business groups, and as a Learning and Performance Consultant at InQyre Research, transforming cybersecurity training. Early in the career, Verlinda worked as a Senior Trainer at United Bank, coordinating new hire training sessions. Verlinda holds a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Brockport.
