Yigal Kaminka

Yigal Kaminka has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Yigal co-founded JoyTunes in 2010 and served as the Content Director. Prior to that, they were the Music Director at JoyTunes starting in 2009. From 2009 to 2016, Yigal was an Oboist with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Yigal also worked as a Principle Oboe with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2013, and as a Solo Oboe with the Budapest Festival Orchestra in 2010. Yigal's earlier roles include being a Solo Oboe (Baroque Oboe) with L'arte del mondo from 2009 to 2010, and a Solo Oboe and section leader with Philharmonie der Nationen Orchestra from 2008 to 2009.

Yigal Kaminka began their education in 2003 at The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance where they pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in the field of Oboe and Recorder. This program lasted until 2006. They then went on to enroll at Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe from 2007 to 2010, where Yigal completed a Double Masters degree specializing in Oboe, Recorders, and Baroque-Oboe.
