Austen Neil has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and innovation. They started their career at Fiasco Gelato in 2015, where they worked as a Product Innovation specialist until 2017. Austen then joined Canada Bread Company, Limited in 2018 as a Product Development professional, with a role title change to Senior Product Developer in 2019. They worked in this role until 2021. Currently, Austen is employed at SimplyProtein as a New Product Development Manager, a position they started in June 2021.
Austen Neil completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, Austen obtained a Diploma of Culinary Arts from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. In 2007, Austen also attended the same institute for a Diploma of Pastry Arts, though no degree was specified.
