Laurie Brewer

Laurie Brewer is currently working as a Staff Nurse in the Med/Surg department at Simpson General Hospital. Prior to this role, Laurie held the title of RN I in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Laurie has a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Belhaven University. Before transitioning to the hospital setting, Laurie spent 14 years at the Mississippi Department of Health, where Laurie held various roles including Asthma Program Manager, Surveillance Branch Director, Hazardous Substances Surveillance Manager, and Cardiovascular Health Coordinator.
