Matt Austin

Matt Austin is a Senior Associate at Simpson Grierson, where employment has continued since November 2018, following a progression from Solicitor to Law Graduate and Summer Law Clerk. Concurrently, Matt serves as a Board Member for Youthline and previously held roles such as Advisor in the Prosecution Support Team at the Department of Corrections NZ and External Fraud Investigator at Kiwibank. Additionally, experience includes tutoring Criminology courses at Victoria University of Wellington and internships with NZ Police and DLA Piper. Matt holds an LLB/BA in Criminology from Victoria University of Wellington and completed secondary education at Hutt International Boys School.
