Walter Meyer

Walter Meyer has over 25 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Walter currently serves as the Director of Information Technology North America at Sims Metal Management Limited, where they are responsible for establishing and executing the IT strategy for the North American business. Prior to this role, Walter worked at Commercial Metals Company for over 16 years, holding various positions including International IT Director and IT Director of Corp Office IT Applications. Walter was responsible for overseeing the global technology portfolio and implementing SAP systems for different business functions. Before joining Commercial Metals Company, Walter also held leadership positions at Blackwoods Australia and Hunter Douglas Australia, where they led IT teams and implemented ERP systems.

Walter Meyer obtained a Master's degree in Business and Technology in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney between 2000 and 2003.
