Angela Catt

Angela Catt has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Angela is currently serving as the Chief Financial & Sustainability Officer - Global at Sims Lifecycle Services since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Investor Relations at Sims Metal Management Limited from September 2018 to June 2021. During their time at the Department of Planning and Environment from August 2017 to August 2018, Angela held the position of Executive Director, Energy Delivery. Angela also had a significant tenure at AGL Energy, where they held multiple roles, including General Manager of Commercial Development from December 2014 to November 2016, Project Director of Customer Value & Analytics from June 2014 to December 2014, Head of Commercial Operations from January 2012 to June 2014, and Manager of Group Strategy and Planning from April 2009 to December 2011. Furthermore, Angela worked at Citi as an Equity Analyst from July 2006 to April 2009 and at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Consultant from January 2006 to July 2006 and as a Senior Analyst from February 2004 to December 2005.

Angela Catt's education history begins in 2003 when they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology at UNSW. Following this, in 2006, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney. Two years later, in 2008, Angela became a Chartered Accountant after completing their degree at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Moving forward, in 2010, they attended Mt Eliza Business School for an AGL Executive Leadership Course, concentrating on business studies. In 2012, they attended Scotwork Negotiating Skills, where they obtained a certification in that area. In 2013, Angela acquired an Australian Financial Markets Accreditation from the Australian Financial Markets Association. Furthermore, in 2014, they participated in the Global Leadership Foundation's Leadership Circle program. Lastly, in 2018, Angela enrolled at the Australian Institute of Company Directors for the GAICD qualification, though the field of study is unspecified.
