Tondalaya Shepard

Tondalaya Shepard is an experienced professional in volunteer and community services, currently serving as the Director of Volunteer & Community Service at Sinai Health System since 2006. In this role, Tondalaya oversees operations, budget management, and strategic planning for the volunteer program, achieving an 80% increase in volunteer recruitment and enhancing community service initiatives. Previously, Tondalaya worked as a Manager at the Women's Business Development Center from 1999 to 2006, focusing on advocacy and resource development. Earlier experience includes serving as a Staff and Corps Member at City Year, where responsibilities included recruitment management and leadership training for corps members. Tondalaya holds a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business and a Master's degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
