Eric Rudberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eric began their career in 2005 as a student in the military and went on to serve in different positions, including Platoon Leader and Battalion Supply Officer, in the US Army. In 2013, they became a Peace Support Operations/Human Rights Military Trainer at Sincerus Global Solutions, Inc., where they trained African contingents in peace operations. Eric also worked as a Farm Manager at Rudberg Family Farm in 2012. In recent years, they have gained experience in international affairs and research. Eric worked as a Research Assistant at the United States Institute of Peace, focusing on security situations in the western Sahel. Eric also interned at the National Defense University, conducting research on peacekeeping in Africa. In 2020, Eric worked as an Intern at the U.S. Department of State, supporting the Peace Operations Capacity Building Division. Eric also pursued Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) and Military Courses at Barton Community College from 2011 to 2012.

In terms of language proficiency, Eric completed the French-African Headstart2 program at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in September 2018.
