Jessica Roth has served on both schools' and non-profits' boards, totaling more than 26 years as a trustee. She has two children at SAS, in eighth grade and tenth grade. She and her family moved to Singapore in September 2021. Before this, they lived in Germany, where she served on the board of the International School of Hamburg from 2016 to 2021, both as member and as chair. Their two oldest children graduated from that school’s International Baccalaureate program.
Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami University, a Master’s degree in Social Policy from The London School of Economics, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The Catholic University of America. She has focused on working as a child psychotherapist and on supporting women and children through non-profit board service. Her board work includes leading head of school searches, pandemic management, strategic planning, marketing, communication, governance, fundraising (capital campaigns, events, and general solicitations), working with a teachers’ union, sustainability, and mission revision.
