Johannes Widodo

Johannes Widodo is a prominent academic and practitioner in the field of architectural history and conservation, currently serving as a member of The Circle for Human Sustainability since 2022. As an academic staff member at the National University of Singapore since December 2000, Johannes serves as the Director of the Tun Tan Cheng Lock Centre for Asian Architectural & Urban Heritage and holds the position of Associate Professor. Johannes has extensive involvement with ICOMOS, having been a member since January 1998 and a founding executive member of both ICOMOS Indonesia and ICOMOS Singapore. Additional roles include associate with the Asia Research Institute, full member of the Singapore Heritage Society, and founding member of Docomomo Singapore and DoCoMoMo Macao. Johannes's academic credentials include a PhD in Architectural History & Theory from The University of Tokyo, an M.Arch.Eng. from KU Leuven, and an Ir. in Architecture from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan.
