Snigdha Bhatta is a legal professional with extensive experience in arbitration and intellectual property law. Currently serving as Deputy Counsel at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre since June 2022, Snigdha previously worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Daniel Seng at the National University of Singapore, focusing on Intellectual Property and DMCA takedown notices utilizing artificial intelligence. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Legal Counsel at the Legal Advisors Forum, where representations were made for the Nepal Electricity Authority in significant Permanent Court of Arbitration cases. Additional roles include Junior Legal Counsel at Unity Law Firm and Consultancy, and various internships at Bharucha & Partners, Advani & Co., and Pioneer Law Associates. Snigdha holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the National University of Singapore and a BA.LLB (Hons) from the National University of Juridical Sciences in Kolkata.
