Seonghoon Kim

Seonghoon Kim is an Associate Professor at Singapore Management University, serving since July 2013, and also holds the position of Deputy Director at the Centre for Research on Successful Ageing. Additionally, Seonghoon Kim has been a Research Fellow at IZA - Institute of Labor Economics since January 2017 and worked as a Senior Economist at Amazon from December 2022 to December 2023. Experience includes a role as a Big Data Research Fellow at the Korean National Health Insurance Service from April 2022 to April 2023 and a Visiting Scholar at UNU-WIDER for research in May 2018. Earlier experience includes a position as a Summer Research Associate at RAND Corporation in June 2012. Seonghoon Kim earned a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Economics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sogang University.
