Sahil Thakur currently serves as the Head of Medical Affairs at Mediwhale, where responsibilities include aligning scientific endeavors with business strategies and establishing retinal imaging as a standard diagnostic tool in primary healthcare. Concurrently, Sahil holds an Adjunct Research Fellow position at the Singapore National Eye Centre, contributing to innovative ophthalmic research and fostering collaborations between academia and industry. Previously, Sahil was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Singapore National Eye Centre, leading clinical research projects, and has extensive experience in ophthalmology from roles at Government Medical College & Hospital in Chandigarh. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Clinical and Translational Sciences from Duke-NUS Medical School, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology from Panjab University, and an MBBS degree from the same institution.
