Head Analytics Research at Singapore Police Force

Andrew Sim has a diverse work experience in the public sector. Andrew started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Manager at People's Association. In 2008, they joined the Singapore Police Force as an Analyst in the Division Intelligence Branch, where they worked until 2011. Andrew then became an Operations Analyst, responsible for analyzing and processing intelligence data. In 2016, Andrew was promoted to Officer-In-Charge of the Intelligence Section, where they played a key role in managing intelligence operations. Currently, Andrew holds the position of Senior Analyst at the Singapore Police Force, where they lead a team in developing analytics solutions. Andrew is also responsible for overseeing multiple projects and managing stakeholders to implement new analytical solutions and change processes.

Andrew Sim completed their education in the following chronological order:

1. From 2019 to 2021, Andrew studied at Nanyang Polytechnic and obtained a Specialist Diploma in Data Analytics.

2. In 2019 and 2020, Andrew pursued a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at IE School of Science and Technology.

3. In 2016, Andrew completed a Graduate Diploma in Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysis from Charles Sturt University.

4. From 2003 to 2007, Andrew attended the National University of Singapore, where they earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree with a specialization in Political Science.

5. During their time at the National University of Singapore, Andrew also completed a Minor in China Studies.

Andrew also holds an Associate's certification from (ISC)², obtained in 2022.
