Reseach Engineer at Single Quantum

Eitan Oksenberg's work experience includes:

- Research Engineer at Single Quantum since October 2022.

- Postdoctoral Researcher at AMOLF, where they served as a Team Lead for a perovskite research project aimed at developing next-generation LEDs. Eitan also led a research project focused on selective chemistry in plasmonic nanocavities for renewable fuels. During their time at AMOLF, they designed and synthesized new optical materials, established evaluation protocols, led international collaborations, and developed spectroscopy methodologies.

- Popular Science Writer at the Davidson Institute of Science Education since October 2012. Eitan has written over 100 popular science articles, some of which have been published by leading newspapers in Israel.

- Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they researched the surface-guided growth of metal-halide perovskite nanowires. Eitan managed collaborations with various countries, fabricated nanowire-based devices, and contributed to the development of photovoltaic devices. Eitan also worked as a Doctoral Researcher, leading a research project on controlling semiconductor nanowires with visible range functionalities. This work led to a patent and further funded projects.

Eitan Oksenberg pursued their education by first attending Tel Aviv University from 2007 to 2010, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. Later, they enrolled at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2011 to pursue their higher education. Eitan successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Nanotechnology in 2017 from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
