Chad Baily

Chad Baily is currently a DevOps Engineer at SingleStone. Chad has previous experience working as an Associate Software Engineer at Virginia529, where they led the development team in cloud resources, architecture modernization, and CI/CD tooling. Chad also has experience working as an Engineer at CO2 Meter, INC. and as a Website Manager at Chip Baily Designs.

Chad is an advocate for TDD and automated testing. During their time at Virginia529, they transitioned the company away from custom SCM to a new provided solution. Chad also coordinated purchasing, legal efforts, on-prem and cloud trial, trialing alternates, setting and administrating permissions, and documenting resources for the team. In addition, they built a POC using AWS Amplify utilizing GraphQL for the company to prove out a possible new architecture.

Chad Baily holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stetson University. Chad also holds a certification from W!SE Financial Literacy.

They are on a team with Matt Hanratta - DevOps Engineer, Danil Gribkov - DevOps Engineer, and Daniel Larner - DevOps Engineer. Chad Baily reports to Chris Belyea, Technical Director, DevOps.
