Silvia Tan

Silvia Tan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Silvia is currently serving as the IFRS17 Finance Vice President at Singlife since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked for Aviva as an IFRS17 Senior Executive starting from August 2018. Before their roles in the insurance industry, Silvia was associated with Deloitte Singapore, where they served as a Senior Associate and gained experience in audit for various financial sectors. Silvia also worked on business proposals and projects during their time in Deloitte. Silvia has also been part of the SMU International Exchange Programme and held the position of Honorary General Secretary at the SMU Accounting Society 8th Management Committee. Silvia began their career as a Human Resource Administration Executive at the Ministry of Education in 2010.

Silvia Tan obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance from Singapore Management University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their GCE A Levels in H2 Chemistry, H2 Economics, H2 Mathematics, and H1 Physics at Pioneer Junior College from 2008 to 2009. In 2012, Silvia also obtained a certification in ABRSM Grade 8 Piano from ABRSM.
