Khalid Khan

Khalid Khan is a seasoned professional in the field of network automation and DevOps, currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Optus since August 2021, where significant achievements include automating Ikev2 VPN configurations using Ansible, drastically reducing setup times. Prior experience includes roles at Vertel, where automation scripts enhanced network resilience, and at China Mobile, where migration of legacy GSM to LTE was completed for a large subscriber base. Khalid also contributed to Telenor's value-added services, implementing a unified charging system that led to decreased power consumption and increased SMS traffic. Khalid began a career as a System Administrator at Nayatel Pvt. Ltd and holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar.
