Greg Miller, PhD

Greg Miller, PhD has a diverse work experience focusing on energy sustainability, policy, and renewable solutions. Greg is currently working as a Research and Policy Lead at Singularity Energy. Prior to this, they served as a Fellow at Clean Energy Buyers Institute and was responsible for developing and implementing clean energy solutions. Greg also worked as a Power Resources Intern at Peninsula Clean Energy, where they gained experience in the renewable energy sector. Additionally, Greg has worked as an Independent Consultant at OnePointFive Solutions, providing sustainability and energy consulting services. Greg was also a Scholar at Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance, conducting research in the field. Earlier in their career, Greg was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on water-energy efficiency. Greg served as the Sustainability Manager at Georgetown University, leading sustainability projects and initiatives. Greg also worked as the Owner of Georgetown Energy Solutions, a small energy services company. Moreover, Greg participated in the Clean Energy Leadership Institute as a Fall Fellow, and they served as an eIntern - Energy Infrastructure Mapping at USAID. Greg Miller, PhD, has an extensive education history. Greg received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Systems from the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2023. Prior to that, in 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Business Administration from the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

In 2014, Greg earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. As part of their undergraduate education, they also studied Russian as a Foreign Language at Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University from 2009 to 2010.

Before entering university, Greg attended St. Charles Preparatory School from 2005 to 2009, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for their time there.
