Melody Xueying Wang has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Melody Xueying began their career as a Voluntary Teacher for Transmit Childhood Voluntary Organization in 2012. Melody Xueying then moved on to Front Office & Guest Relation Agent at Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel in 2015, followed by Front Office & Customer Service at Marriott Hotels in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Copywriter for Best Education and Migration Pty Ltd. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Sales Development and Sales Development Representative at Sinorbis and as a Brand Ambassador and Sales Consultant at Storm Group - better sales.

Melody Xueying Wang attended Shannon College of Hotel Management from 2012 to 2017, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in International Hotel Management. Melody Xueying then attended University of Galway from 2015 to 2017, also obtaining a Bachelor's degree in International Hotel Management. In 2017, Wang began their Master's degree in Marketing at UNSW, which they completed in 2019. In 2011, Wang attended DIFC Ireland, but did not obtain a degree. In September 2021, Wang obtained a certification in Learn to Lead with UNSW 2021 from UNSW.
