Ortal Cohen

Ortal Cohen is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and research and development, currently serving as VP of RA and R&D at Sion Medical Ltd since March 2020. Previously, Ortal held the position of RA Manager at Sion Biotext Medical Ltd from March 2017 to December 2020 and worked as a QA Investigator at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd from June 2012 to February 2017, where responsibilities included reviewing and approving out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, and non-conformance investigations while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. Additionally, Ortal worked as an investigator assistant at Ben Gurion University in late 2011. Ortal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, completed in 2012.
