Stephen Loosley

Stephen Loosley is the Managing Partner at Sionic, responsible for Banking and Markets practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Stephen has P&L ownership for Sionic's largest practice and is accountable for all aspects of practice management, including proposition development and account management, delivery assurance, recruitment, training and retention of 60 people servicing investment banking and financial markets infrastructure clients. In 2020/21, they are projected to generate c£10mm revenue. Loosley is also a member of Sionic's Executive Committee, contributing to firmwide leadership.

Prior to joining Sionic, Loosley was the Managing Director at Catalyst Development Ltd., responsible for all Catalyst consulting teams across risk, clearing, regulation, core consulting, and organisational development. Stephen was also the line of business head for all consulting and skills augmentation businesses.

Before their role at Catalyst Development Ltd., Loosley was Head of Middle Office at SwapClear and Manager, Interest Rate Risk at LCH.Clearnet. Stephen started their career at LCH.Clearnet as a Risk Analyst on the Interest Rates team.

Stephen Loosley has a BSc Hons in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.
