Hans van-der-Weijde

Hans Van-der-Weijde is a distinguished fellow at the Netherlands Academy of Engineering and a member of the Regieorgaan uitvoeringsprogramma circulaire maakindustrie since November 2020. With extensive experience at Tata Steel in Europe since 2005, Hans holds the position of Director of Strategy, Programme Management, and External Relations at Tata Steel Nederland R&D, along with responsibilities as Programme Manager for Packaging & Thrust and Safety Coordinator. Additional involvement includes advisory roles at various organizations such as the Materials Innovation Institute M2i, AMOLF, and the Sir Henry Royce Foundation, among others. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Materials Science from Delft University of Technology and leadership training from multiple esteemed programs.
