Zeleke Bacha

Zeleke Bacha is a seasoned expert in program operations with extensive experience in humanitarian settings. Currently serving as Project Director at the International Rescue Committee since April 2018, Zeleke has held various leadership roles, providing comprehensive support in finance, supply chain, security, and human resources. Prior to this, Zeleke was Operations Director at International Medical Corps, overseeing significant program expansions across multiple Ethiopian regions. Zeleke's earlier experience includes various positions at the International Rescue Committee, where critical responsibilities included managing refugee care and operational budgets. Zeleke began a career as a WATSAN Officer with Save the Children UK, successfully implementing water supply and civil construction projects. Zeleke holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hawassa University.
